- You will receive supervision and appraisal on a regular basis
- On initial enquiry, providing you have 6 months current experience and have moving and handling training, you will be sent an application pack.
- Once application received references are sought (one must be from current employer, the other relevant to the post)
- Once references are received, and providing they are acceptable, the applicant is selected for interview.
- Induction is carried out after the interview if the applicant is successful.
Health and Social Care Assistants are:
- Counter-checked by SSSC
- Registered with Disclosure Scotland ( PVG Scheme)
- Required to provide proof of identification and registration
- Required to have more than 6 months experience
- Required to have 2 up-to-date relevant references, one of which is from current employer
- You must have a minimum SVQ Level 2
- You need to be prepared to registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.
